<h2 data-start="149" data-end="189">1. About Us and Scope of These Terms</h2>
<p data-start="191" data-end="529">These terms and conditions apply to the rental and purchase of goods and services from Verkt&oslash;ybua Utleie AS (Org. no. 925 274 186 VAT). They apply to both private individuals and businesses, and for all orders made via our website, phone, or email. These terms, together with the order confirmation, form the entire contractual agreement.</p>
<h2 data-start="531" data-end="545">2. Parties</h2>
<p data-start="547" data-end="641"><strong data-start="547" data-end="567">Lessor / Seller:</strong> Verkt&oslash;ybua Utleie AS, hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "lessor."</p>
<p data-start="643" data-end="711"><strong data-start="643" data-end="665">Lessee / Customer:</strong> The person or business listed as the orderer.</p>
<h2 data-start="713" data-end="750">3. Ordering, Payment, and Deposit</h2>
<p data-start="752" data-end="846">Orders are placed via <a class="decorated-link" href="https://www.verktoybua.no" target="_new" rel="noopener" data-start="774" data-end="828">https://www.verktoybua.no</a>, phone, or email.</p>
<p data-start="848" data-end="919">Payment can be made either via invoice or through our payment provider.</p>
<p data-start="921" data-end="1104">A deposit may be required at the time of order and will be reserved on the payment card. The amount varies based on the type of equipment and will be stated in the order confirmation.</p>
<p data-start="1106" data-end="1223">In the event of late, missing, or damaged returns, we may use the deposit and, if necessary, charge additional costs.</p>
<p data-start="1225" data-end="1361">By completing the order, the customer agrees that we may reserve and charge the card for rental, damage, cleaning, or replacement costs.</p>
<h2 data-start="1363" data-end="1408">4. Equipment Condition and Responsibility</h2>
<p data-start="1410" data-end="1471">All equipment is delivered in operational and good condition.</p>
<p data-start="1473" data-end="1570">The lessee is responsible for inspecting the equipment before use and notifying us of any faults.</p>
<p data-start="1572" data-end="1708">You are responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during the rental period unless it is due to a technical fault not caused by you.</p>
<p data-start="1710" data-end="1852">All equipment must be returned clean. If not cleaned, a cleaning fee will be charged according to the type of equipment and degree of soiling.</p>
<h2 data-start="1854" data-end="1885">5. Damage, Faults, and Wear</h2>
<p data-start="1887" data-end="1944">All damage and faults must be reported to us immediately.</p>
<p data-start="1946" data-end="1996">Repairs must not be performed without our consent.</p>
<p data-start="1998" data-end="2125">In the case of misuse, negligence, or failure to return equipment on time, the lessee may be held responsible for compensation.</p>
<p data-start="2127" data-end="2198">Cleaning and repair work is invoiced at 600 NOK excluding VAT per hour.</p>
<p data-start="2200" data-end="2283">Wear and tear on equipment is charged according to the rates listed on the website.</p>
<p data-start="2285" data-end="2457">In the event of damage or accidents, the lessee must contact the lessor immediately and complete a damage report. Failure to do so may result in loss of insurance coverage.</p>
<h2 data-start="2459" data-end="2482">6. Use of Equipment</h2>
<p data-start="2484" data-end="2598">Use of the equipment is at your own risk. The minimum age for use is 18 years, unless otherwise agreed in writing.</p>
<p data-start="2600" data-end="2657">The user manual and safety instructions must be followed.</p>
<p data-start="2659" data-end="2776">A user guide will be sent with each order. If you need guidance, you can arrange a short training session in advance.</p>
<p data-start="2778" data-end="2890">We disclaim responsibility for direct or indirect damage resulting from the use or malfunction of the equipment.</p>
<h2 data-start="2892" data-end="2910">7. Accessories</h2>
<p data-start="2912" data-end="2970">Accessories must either be purchased or rented separately.</p>
<p data-start="2972" data-end="3052">What is included is specified in the product description and order confirmation.</p>
<p data-start="3054" data-end="3116">Right of withdrawal applies only to purchases, not to rentals.</p>
<p data-start="3118" data-end="3316">If you require additional accessories after pickup, this must be documented. Take pictures of everything you take with you and send an email with descriptions and images before leaving the location.</p>
<h2 data-start="3318" data-end="3345">8. Lessee's Obligations</h2>
<p data-start="3347" data-end="3436">You are responsible for the equipment from the time it is picked up until it is returned.</p>
<p data-start="3438" data-end="3479">Return must occur within the agreed time.</p>
<p data-start="3481" data-end="3507">In case of delayed return:</p>

<p data-start="3511" data-end="3550">Over 2 hours: 1 additional day&rsquo;s rental</p>

<p data-start="3607" data-end="3917">A notified extension can be arranged without additional charge. If you wish to extend the rental, a new booking must be made with a start time no earlier than 2 hours after the original rental time. A new code must be requested via email. Failure to return without a valid extension will be treated as a delay.</p>
<p data-start="3919" data-end="4000">User accounts must be personal, and you are obligated to notify us of any misuse.</p>
<h2 data-start="4002" data-end="4034">9. Changes and Cancellations</h2>
<p data-start="4036" data-end="4100">All changes and cancellations must be approved in writing by us.</p>
<p data-start="4102" data-end="4176">A change fee of 300 NOK excluding VAT may apply in the event of rebooking.</p>
<p data-start="4178" data-end="4240">All costs will be communicated before the change takes effect.</p>
<h2 data-start="4242" data-end="4269">10. Pickup and Delivery</h2>
<p data-start="4271" data-end="4370">Pickup and delivery will occur at the agreed time and location as stated in the order confirmation.</p>
<p data-start="4372" data-end="4444">Access to the premises will be provided via a code sent by SMS or email.</p>
<p data-start="4446" data-end="4514">We will notify you if the equipment is not ready at the agreed time.</p>
<h2 data-start="4516" data-end="4552">11. Use of Premises and Property</h2>
<p data-start="4554" data-end="4626">You are responsible for the premises and property while you have access.</p>
<p data-start="4628" data-end="4675">The gate/door must always be closed and locked.</p>
<p data-start="4677" data-end="4728">You are liable for theft, damage, or negligent use.</p>
<p data-start="4730" data-end="4797">Do not leave vehicles or equipment unattended without an agreement.</p>
<p data-start="4799" data-end="4863">Open flames, smoking, alcohol, and loud behavior are prohibited.</p>
<p data-start="4865" data-end="4932">The premises must be cleaned and tidied as needed before you leave.</p>

<h2 data-start="5338" data-end="5376">12. Additional Terms for RV Rental</h2>
<p data-start="5378" data-end="5461">When renting an RV from Verkt&oslash;ybua Utleie AS, the following additional terms apply:</p>
<p data-start="5463" data-end="5503"><strong data-start="5463" data-end="5503">Age Requirement and Driver&rsquo;s License</strong></p>
<ul data-start="5505" data-end="5732">

<p data-start="5507" data-end="5544">The lessee must be over 18 years old.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="5545" data-end="5652">
<p data-start="5547" data-end="5652">The driver must be over 25 years old and have held a valid Class B driver's license for at least 3 years.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="5653" data-end="5732">
<p data-start="5655" data-end="5732">If the vehicle exceeds 3500 kg, a Class C1 license or equivalent is required.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p data-start="5734" data-end="5757"><strong data-start="5734" data-end="5757">Booking and Payment</strong></p>

<p data-start="5761" data-end="5815">The RV can be booked via phone, email, or the website.</p>

<p data-start="5818" data-end="5902">A deposit of 12,000 NOK will be held on your account according to our general terms.</p>

</ul>
<p data-start="5904" data-end="5925"><strong data-start="5904" data-end="5925">Pickup and Return</strong></p>

<p data-start="5929" data-end="6207">The date and time for pickup and return will be agreed for each rental period. Verkt&oslash;ybua Utleie is not obligated to hand over the vehicle at the times requested by the lessee at the time of booking. Self-service pickup and return may be used if the agreed time is not suitable.</p>

<li data-start="6208" data-end="6252">
<p data-start="6210" data-end="6252">Late returns are charged 300 NOK per hour.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="6253" data-end="6368">
<p data-start="6255" data-end="6368">The RV must be returned clean inside and outside, with an empty toilet and gray water tank, and a full fuel tank.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="6369" data-end="6571">
<p data-start="6371" data-end="6437">Failure to clean or empty the tanks will incur additional charges:</p>

<p data-start="6682" data-end="6801">The lessee is responsible for daily maintenance, such as topping up oil, coolant, checking fuel, and general condition.</p>

<p data-start="6804" data-end="6864">Only regular diesel is allowed (no biodiesel or red diesel).</p>

<p data-start="6920" data-end="7019">Verkt&oslash;ybua Utleie is not liable for lost holidays or income due to unforeseen damage or breakdowns.</p>

</ul>
<p data-start="7021" data-end="7050"><strong data-start="7021" data-end="7050">Insurance and Deductibles</strong></p>

<p data-start="7054" data-end="7122">The rental includes liability insurance and comprehensive insurance.</p>
</li>

<p data-start="7125" data-end="7165">Deductible for damage: up to 12,000 NOK.</p>

<p data-start="7168" data-end="7192">Glass damage: 2,500 NOK.</p>

<p data-start="7195" data-end="7332">Theft only covers permanently installed equipment in the RV. Personal property is recommended to be covered by your own travel insurance.</p>

<p data-start="7335" data-end="7445">In the event of incorrect fueling or damage without insurance coverage, the lessee is financially responsible.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="7446" data-end="7545">
<p data-start="7448" data-end="7545">The RV is connected to roadside assistance. In case of damage, a damage report must be completed.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p data-start="7547" data-end="7565"><strong data-start="7547" data-end="7565">Fees and Fines</strong></p>

<p data-start="7626" data-end="7736">Any fines and illegal use will be charged to the lessee, along with an administrative fee of 500 NOK per case.</p>

<p data-start="7739" data-end="7845">Illegal use (such as criminal activity) will result in police notification and full liability for damages.</p>

</ul>
<p data-start="7847" data-end="7863"><strong data-start="7847" data-end="7863">Cancellation</strong></p>

<h2 data-start="8053" data-end="8101">13. Right of Withdrawal (Only for Purchases)</h2>
<p data-start="8103" data-end="8172">You have a 14-day right of withdrawal for purchases, not for rentals.</p>
<p data-start="8174" data-end="8237">The item must be unused and returned in its original packaging.</p>
<p data-start="8239" data-end="8316">A value reduction will be deducted from the refund if the item has been used.</p>
<p data-start="8318" data-end="8476">Please return items with other equipment in the marked "Return Products" shelf or send them back at your own expense. Remember to include the withdrawal form.</p>
<h2 data-start="8478" data-end="8495">14. Copyright</h2>
<p data-start="8497" data-end="8563">All content, images, and materials are protected by copyright law.</p>
